T. LEJSEK, Z. SEIFERT, S. BAXA
Kvasny Prum. 1987; 33(10): 289-292 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1987059
Evaulating the measurement of hop boiling in a continuous boiler, specific energy consumption of 134,2 MJ . m-3 was found. This value forms about 33,3 % of specific energy consumption needed for hop boiling in classical boilers. The whole mean value of evaporated water was 8,6 %. The time of operation of the boiler was utilized to 82 %.(In Czech, English summary only)
Possibilities of organic acid determination by ITP in red type wines.Peer-reviewed article
J. KAROVIČOVÁ, J. POLONSKÝ, M. DRDÁK
Kvasny Prum. 1987; 33(10): 292-294 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1987060
The content of organic acids was analysed in red type wines by isotachophoresis. In the samples there were determined tartaric, lactic, malic, succinic and acetic acids. For the optimal separation of analysed components this electrolytic system, dod proce itself: leading electrolyte: 8 . 10-3 mol . l-1 HCl + e - amino-capronic acid + 1 . 10-3 mol . l-1 CaCl2 (pH 5) terminating electrolyte: 1.10-2 mol . l-1 capronic acid.(In Slovak, English summary only)

V. MATĚJŮ, V. KAMENÍK
Kvasny Prum. 1987; 33(10): 294-297 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1987061
A list of establishments producing microbial proteins from waste liquors from citric acid production, molasses, molasses slops, synthetic ethanol and sulphite liquors is made. Further, the most modern concern for SCP production from Mg-bisulphite liquors in described. Further development of the SCP production is discussed with respect to the availability and cost of rawmaterials.(In Czech, English summary only)
Temperature effect during the thermolysis on yeast cell morphology and structure.Peer-reviewed article
L. ADÁMEK, M. RUT, D. HULÍNSKÁ, H. MOSELSKÁ
Kvasny Prum. 1987; 33(10): 298-300 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1987062
The term "thermolysis" that is used in fodder yeast production is not best one from the standpoint of a description of thermal treatment of a dense yeast suspension. The thermal treatment of Torupopsis ethanolitolerans FRIFI 235 at the temperature of80 °C during 3 to 30 min results in a damage of the intracellular structure and membrane. However, the cell wall remains unperforated. The process is better described by the term "termization".(In Czech, English summary only)
Bioreactors. VII. Membrane reactors.Peer-reviewed article
J. PÁCA
Kvasny Prum. 1987; 33(10): 300-303 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1987063
Filter reactors, rotorfermentor, hollow-fibre membrane reactors, continuous stirred tank reactor/filtration cell dialysis membrane systems and several types perfusion reactors are described. Also materials of membranes including their properties and elucidation of the principles of the membrane processes together with their applications in membrane bioreactor are given.(In Czech, English summary only)
