The new kieselguhr Calofri F10 was tested on laboratory, pilot-plant and plant scales. According to throughput belongs this kieselguhr between those of F4 and F20. Its properties permit its independent dosage. F10 can be combined with the more tough or more fine kieselguhr to achieve the proper filtration rate. As a result of model tests alternative mixtures with the kieselguhr F10 are comparable with mixtures of other kieselguhrs. Plant scale tests proved the very good filtration effect of kieselguhr F10. Using the proper mixture of kieselguhrs better results can be achieved than in a case of Calofrig one only.(In Czech, English summary only)
Enzyme stabilizations used as internal standards in enzyme analysis for biotechnology. I. eS-Test Enzyme standard of malt α-Amylase.Peer-reviewed article

Kvasny Prum. 1992; 38(9): 262-265 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1992026
Tablet eS-Test enzyme standard of malt α-amylase was prepared by an immobilization of malt α-amylase on a surface of modified colagene with respect to the tablet weight (variation coefficient v = 1.80 %) and to the accuracy of the activity determination (variation coefficient v = 1.92 %). The stability of enzyme standard (as a function of temperature and time exposure) was tested by an accelerated test under extreme conditions. The decrease in the activity of enzyme standard after 2 years of storage at the temperature of 4 °C is lower than the accuracy of the activity determination.(In Slovak, English summary only)
