The contents of lower aliphatic halogen hydrocarbons in brewing liquor can be, apart from contamination of ground water by organic substances, influenced even by selection of the used disinfectant in the course of water treatment in the brewery. The article gives description and mutual comparison of progressive analytical methods using a principle of the statical and dynamical headspace analysis. A survey publication unveils principal questions in connection with problems of packages for beverage industry inCzechRepublic. Characterization is given of the situation with respect to packages supply and quality under conditions of the lasting monopoly position of bottles and caps´ manufactures. Discussed are innovations in beverage packages and ecological aspects of packaging materials.
