The article outlines the extent to which gaseous fuels can be used to advantage for heating various technological installations in breweries and malt houses. The results of investigation which has been carried out speak for straight gas heating in brewhouses and malt kilns. In many cases difficulties arising from the present fuel crisis can be eliminated by operating systems designed for two fuels: i.e. gas and coal.
