Growth stimulators for fodder yeast production.Peer-reviewed article

L. ADÁMEK, M. RUT, F. ŠTROS

For fodder yeast production from ethanol distiller's slops as a source of stimulatory compounds, are used. As further possible sources autolysates of Saccharomyces cerevisa, Torulopsis ethanolitolerans and the supernatant after termization of yeast suspension produced were tested. Autolyzates were inefficient. However the effect of supernatant after thermalization of yeast suspension was the same of better than of molasses destilation residue. Looses of the final product originated during thermalization of yeast suspension are partially of quite compensated with the stimulatory effect of supernatant added. The most economic procedure of the treatment of yeast suspension and the dosage of supernatant after the recycle was derived for plant scale conditions.
