Organic carboxylic acids as products of the microbial synthesis are described. Using chemical and physical mutagens active strains from genus Aspergillus for a production of citric and itaconic acids were selected. Testing various carbon sources the results proved a possibility to use molasses, liquid alkanes and hydrolysates of plant materials for acid productions. The procedures for isocitric and ketoglutaric acid as cell as for their salts production from liquid alkanes using the yeast Candida lipolytica were elaborated.(In Slovak, English summary only)
