Thirty strains of yeast were isolated from beer of different marks, cultivated in appropriate media and studied to find out specific features reliable enough to classify strains, i.e. to identify them by their kinds and species.(In Czech, English summary only)
Application of potentiometric titration for the determination of carbon in carbonated beverage.Peer-reviewed article
J. ŠTICHAUER
Kvasny Prum. 1975; 21(5): 107-109 | DOI: 10.18832/kp1975014
The author describes a modified Cannizar method which has been worked out for the determination of carbon dioxide in carbonated beverages and is based on the application of potentiometric titration. Contrary to many other methods used at present the new one gives very reliable and accurate results requiring at the same time no complicated laboratory instruments or difficult technique. An example illustrates the application and calculation of CO2 content. The method is applicable to any carbonated beverage, no matter whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic being especially effective for analyzing coloured sorts. The percentage of CO2 can...
